ABOUT US
We are currently in the early stages of creating a new doggie daycare facility. We hope to begin taking applications this summer of 2024. Our kennel license was issued by the Department of Agriculture for the state of Maine in 2023; License #F1971.
We will be offering a small-scale daycare and boarding out of our home. We will be limited in the number of dogs we can take in per day. This is to ensure everyone's safety and still provide the home away from home experience. Rest assured that your dog will be continually supervised and allowed to interact in our home with our dogs in a safe environment. We also have a large fence yard for all of them to play.
We have plans to expand in the future. Dogs will be allowed outside in a fenced area that has been reinforced and includes a 5-foot high fenced-in area with plenty of shade. This is to keep your fur babies safe. We will also have a separate area for the fur babies with smaller paws. Some of the big guys and gals just don't realize their size. Indoor shelter will be provided for inclement weather. This will ensure they stay warm and dry.
Here at Pawsitive Pet Services we understand that not all dogs are the same. So therefore, they are not going to feel or play the same. This is why it is important to screen everyone prior to dropping off your fur baby.
All dogs will be under constant supervision and will be separated depending on temperament and personality. This ensures that everyone is safe, happy, and content during the day. All dogs will need to go through an interview process, fill out an application, complete a meet and greet, and be up to date on all vaccines before your fur baby can enroll in Ruff House Day Care.
